Logosky is now Fogra certified
Why Fogra Certification Matters in Aircraft Printing
In aviation, visuals aren’t just for aesthetics, they’re part of a critical, highly regulated system. Whether it’s an aircraft livery, a safety placard, or a custom decal, precision isn’t optional. That’s why Logosky is proud to announce that we are now officially Fogra certified, a globally recognised standard for colour accuracy and print process reliability. But what does that really mean?
What Is Fogra Certification?
Fogra, officially known as the Fogra Research Institute for Media Technologies, is a leading international organisation based in Germany, focused on quality assurance and research in printing technology. Its certification programme ‘FograCert’ verifies that printing processes meet strict criteria for colour consistency, repeatability, and material performance. In industries like aviation, where even the smallest visual deviation can impact regulatory compliance or brand integrity, Fogra certification is more than a nice to have. It's a technical guarantee.
The Process Behind the Certification
Earning FograCert required a complete audit of our production setup from software to substrate. Our machines were individually calibrated, our workflows examined, and every stage of production aligned to meet Fogra’s standards. Test prints were produced under real conditions, stability-tested, and submitted directly to Fogra for review.
We passed on the first application.
This isn't a one-time achievement either. Fogra mandates periodic reassessment, meaning our colour control and process stability will continue to be reviewed and validated at regular intervals. For our clients, this translates into long-term consistency—flight after flight.
Colour Accuracy—At 35,000 Feet and Beyond
Consider an aircraft livery. It’s not just a branding tool—it’s a visual signature, a safety element, and often the first point of contact for passengers. Colours must stay consistent across materials, lighting conditions, and time. A slight colour shift that might go unnoticed on paper becomes glaring on the fuselage of a commercial jet. Fogra certification means our entire system is calibrated to deliver measurable, repeatable accuracy. Whether you're rebranding a fleet or replacing a single decal, what you approve digitally is exactly what you'll get in reality.
More Than Just Livery: Why It Matters for Placards and Decals
Aircraft placards and decals operate under even stricter scrutiny. These are not just labels they're part of the aircraft’s safety system. Legibility, contrast, durability, and material adhesion are all critical. Especially for exterior decals, performance under UV exposure, extreme temperatures, and aerodynamic stress is non-negotiable.With our Fogra-certified process, we’re not just promising consistency—we’re delivering it. Every placard and decal meets the same standards for colour fidelity and physical performance, across every batch.
Built for Aviation. Backed by Fogra.
Achieving FograCert wasn’t about ticking boxes it was about aligning every part of our operation with the highest expectations in print technology. From pre-press file preparation to real-time print control, our system is now engineered to remove guesswork and reduce error margins.
Because in this industry, “close enough” isn’t good enough.
At Logosky, we’re not just printing aviation components. We’re delivering visual precision—measured, verified, and ready to fly.
