A New Livery, A Familiar Standard: Global Airlines by LogoSky
As an EASA-approved Production Organisation (POA), we are honored to have contributed in the transformation of Global Airlines’ Airbus A380, a project that has captured the attention of aviation enthusiasts worldwide. This aircraft, previously operated by China Southern Airlines, underwent a significant transition before finally emerging with its own unique identity.
The Evolution of Global Airlines’ A380 Livery
When Global Airlines acquired the A380, it initially carried a hybrid livery, blending elements of its previous operator with the airline’s new branding. The aircraft featured China Southern Airlines’ iconic blue streaks along the fuselage, combined with a newly designed tail that hinted at Global Airlines’ future look. This unique combination remained for a period, symbolizing the aircraft’s transition between two carriers.
The real transformation took place when the aircraft was finally given its full Global Airlines livery, marking a new chapter in its journey. However, removing the remnants of the China Southern Airlines blue streams proved to be a challenge. Despite meticulous painting efforts, traces of the old design persisted, requiring innovative solutions to achieve a seamless final appearance.
Our Role in Bringing the New Global Airlines’ A380 Tail Livery to Life
At LogoSky, we take immense pride in our contribution to this project. Our team was responsible for the manufacture and installation of the newly designed tail livery, alongside fuselage branding, critical components of Global Airlines’ brand identity. Applying our advanced manufacturing techniques and expertise, we ensured that the final result met the highest standards of precision, durability, and visual appeal.
The final phase of this transformation took place at the Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) facility in Beja, Portugal. Here, our skilled in-house installation professionals worked carefully to ensure the perfect installation of the tail livery, aligning every detail to create a striking and cohesive design that truly represents Global Airlines.
