LogoSky at MRO Europe 2026: Aircraft Placards, Markings and Liveries

LogoSky exhibited at MRO Europe 2026 at RAI Amsterdam on 28–29 October, meeting airlines, MRO organisations, lessors and aviation suppliers at Booth 5-611. Discussions focused on aircraft placards, interior and exterior markings, livery graphics and the manufacturing requirements behind reliable supply.

Representing LogoSky were Suzan Aksu, Sales & Business Development Manager, and Yiğit Gürcihan, Director of Brand & Corporate Affairs. Across the two days, they discussed current and upcoming requirements with professionals responsible for aircraft maintenance, procurement, engineering and fleet operations.

From replacement placards to complete aircraft livery programmes, the conversations covered approved data, material selection, configuration control, traceability, lead times and installation planning.

Aircraft Placards and Markings in the MRO Process

Within an aircraft maintenance programme, placards and identification parts may be relatively small components, but they carry essential safety, warning and operating information. They must remain legible, correctly positioned and suitable for the surfaces and environmental conditions in which they are used.

When an aircraft undergoes maintenance, modification, cabin refurbishment, repainting or preparation for return to service, missing or incorrect graphics can create avoidable delays. A replacement part must match the aircraft’s configuration and the applicable technical requirements.

This connection between graphics production and the wider MRO process was central to many of our discussions in Amsterdam. Reliable supply depends on manufacturing capability, accurate interpretation of technical data, revision control and consistent reproduction across different aircraft and fleet configurations.

Manufacturing Aircraft Graphics with Full Traceability

As an EASA Part 21G Approved Production Organisation, LogoSky manufactures aircraft placards and markings under controlled production processes.

Our production scope includes interior identification labels, warning and instruction placards, exterior aircraft markings, registration markings, flags, stencils, engraved identification plates and complete placard kits.

Requirements can range from a single replacement placard to recurring production for an entire fleet. In each case, the objective remains the same: to manufacture the correct part, to the correct configuration, with consistent quality and full traceability.

For exterior aircraft placards and decals, material selection must take account of UV exposure, weather conditions, cleaning processes and variations in aircraft surfaces. Interior aircraft placards require the same attention to detail, alongside consideration of cabin substrates, visibility, cleaning resistance and removal requirements.

LogoSky’s aircraft graphics manufacturing capability covers more than 50,000 part numbers. This established production base supports efficient response times while maintaining repeatability, documented conformity and traceability from technical data through to the finished part.

Replacement Placards, Aircraft Kits and AOG Requirements

MRO requirements rarely follow a single pattern. Some projects are planned months in advance, while others arise during inspection, modification or final aircraft checks.

A missing marking or an incorrect revision may only become apparent late in the maintenance process, when the available response window is already limited. For aircraft on the ground (AOG), clear technical information and timely coordination are particularly important.

Our production structure supports both planned programmes and time-sensitive requirements. When an existing part is within our approved capability, it can move efficiently through the production process. For new requirements, technical data is reviewed and prepared for controlled manufacture.

This approach allows LogoSky to support airlines, MROs and other aviation organisations with individual replacement placards, partial kits, complete aircraft sets and recurring fleet requirements, while maintaining control of part identity and production history.

Aircraft Livery Graphics: Manufacturing and Installation

Our discussions at MRO Europe also covered the relationship between maintenance activity and aircraft appearance. Repainting, lease transitions, operator changes and scheduled maintenance checks can all create requirements for new exterior markings or a complete aircraft livery programme.

LogoSky manufactures aircraft livery graphics, aerospace decals, registration markings, flags and technical markings for commercial, cargo, charter and special-mission aircraft.

Every livery project begins with the aircraft itself. Surface geometry, panel lines, doors, access points, antennas and installation conditions must be evaluated before approved artwork becomes a production-ready graphic set.

Whether the requirement involves a permanent fleet identity, a temporary campaign or a special aircraft livery, accurate preparation is essential to achieving a consistent result on the airframe.

As an experienced aircraft livery manufacturer, LogoSky connects artwork preparation, manufacturing and installation planning. Our own teams also provide worldwide aircraft graphics installation and removal, maintaining continuity between the production stage and the completed aircraft.

Two Productive Days at RAI Amsterdam

MRO Europe provided a valuable setting for direct conversations with existing industry contacts and new organisations. Meeting in person helped us understand different operational structures, discuss technical expectations and identify where LogoSky could support maintenance and fleet programmes.

The discussions at Booth 5-611 reinforced a principle that shapes our work: the visible graphic is the final stage of a much wider manufacturing process. Reliable aircraft decals, placards and liveries depend on accurate data, appropriate materials, controlled production and clear communication between everyone involved.

We thank everyone who visited the LogoSky booth at MRO Europe 2026. We look forward to continuing the conversations started in Amsterdam and developing new cooperation across aircraft placards, markings and livery programmes.
