MTB Aviation Europe 2026: Aviation Connections in Malta

LogoSky attended MTB Aviation Europe 2026 in Malta, joining a focused two-day programme of meetings with airlines, MROs, suppliers and other aviation professionals.

The event created the right setting for direct and practical conversations, less about broad claims and more about current fleet requirements, production challenges and the details that determine whether an aviation graphics programme works as intended.

For LogoSky, the value of MTB Aviation Europe came from the quality of these discussions. We had the opportunity to meet representatives from a wide range of companies, introduce our production capabilities and better understand the operational priorities behind their upcoming requirements.

The atmosphere throughout the event was professional, open and friendly, allowing conversations to develop naturally and move quickly into technical detail.

Conversations Built Around Operational Requirements

Aircraft graphics may appear straightforward when viewed as a finished visual element. In practice, every requirement depends on a combination of material selection, aircraft configuration, surface condition, installation method, traceability and documentation.

This was reflected in many of our meetings in Malta. Discussions around aircraft decals and placards were frequently connected to wider operational questions:

How can repeat orders remain consistent across a fleet? How should an urgent replacement placard be identified and manufactured? What information is required before an exterior graphic enters production? How can short installation windows be managed without compromising accuracy?

These are the questions that shape LogoSky’s daily work. Our role extends beyond graphic production. We translate approved data and operational requirements into controlled and repeatable production outputs suitable for their intended aircraft environment.

Aircraft Decals and Placards Under Controlled Production

As an EASA Part 21G-approved Production Organisation, LogoSky manufactures aircraft placards and markings for interior and exterior applications.

Our production scope includes identification plates, warning and instruction placards, registration markings, flags, stencils, engravings and complete placard kits. Requirements can range from a single replacement item to recurring fleet-wide production.

For aircraft exterior placards, legibility, material performance, colour consistency and accurate positioning are essential. Interior applications bring their own requirements, including compatibility with cabin surfaces and the conditions associated with cleaning, use and removal.

In both cases, production must remain traceable and consistent from one order to the next.

Our aircraft graphics manufacturing capability covers more than 50,000 part numbers, providing an established production base across placards, markings and decals, alongside our aircraft livery and metal engraving manufacturing capabilities. This extensive part-number library supports repeat orders, replacement requirements and new aircraft configurations while maintaining configuration control and repeatability.

From Aerospace Decals to Complete Aircraft Livery Programmes

The meetings at MTB Aviation Europe also gave us the opportunity to explain the wider scope of our work.

Alongside aviation placards and aerospace decals, LogoSky manufactures exterior markings and complete or partial aircraft livery graphics for commercial, cargo, charter and special mission aircraft.

Every aircraft livery project begins with the airframe. Dimensions, panel lines, access points, surface geometry and installation conditions must be considered before artwork becomes a production file. Whether the requirement is a fleet identity, a temporary campaign or a special-event livery, the visible result depends on careful preparation behind the scenes.

As an experienced aircraft livery manufacturer, LogoSky brings production and installation considerations into the process at an early stage. This reduces uncertainty during application and helps ensure that manufactured graphics correspond with the actual aircraft and the available ground time. Where required, our own installation teams can complete the application on site, maintaining continuity between production planning and final installation.

Our capabilities also include cabin graphics for tray tables, overhead bins and other approved interior surfaces, as well as engraved identification plates and metal markings. This allows related graphic and identification requirements to be managed through a single, technically coordinated production approach.

It gave us the space to listen, compare requirements across different operations and explain how LogoSky manages aircraft graphics from production data through to delivery and installation.

Several meetings opened the way for follow-up discussions, while others provided useful insight into how airlines, MROs and aviation suppliers are managing their current placard, marking and livery requirements.

The event confirmed a point that is central to our work: reliable aircraft graphics are built through preparation, manufacturing control and clear technical communication. The finished decal or placard may be the visible result, but its consistency depends on the process behind it.
